About the park

The property

The camping area sits along Thanes Creek, which runs through the 2500-acre property. Trail bike and MX tracks are cut through the country above the creek, and the dam is big enough for swimming, kayaking and fishing.

On site you'll find powered and unpowered sites, self-contained cabins, hot showers, a kids playground and a kiosk.

Park rules

A few things that keep the place running well for everyone. Thanks for reading them before you arrive.

Check in and check out

Check in is from 7.30am. Earlier arrival can be arranged with management. Check out is 10am and can be extended by arrangement.

Other guests may be waiting to move into your spot, so please keep to the official times as best you can.

Dogs and other pets

Dogs are welcome in the camping areas and must be on a lead at all times. Dogs are not allowed inside the cabins under any circumstances.

If you'd like to bring another household pet, contact us before you arrive.

Generators

One generator per group, kept as close to your camp as possible
Run between 7.30am and 9pm Queensland time only
Keep it clear of fuel, dry grass and anything combustible
Never leave a running generator unattended
No generators during a fire ban

Rubbish

Wrap your rubbish and take it to the dump points. Broken camp chairs, sunshades, airbeds and tents can't be dumped here, so please take them home with you.

Keep your site tidy, store food and rubbish securely overnight, and pick up anything you find on the trails.
